We are having a blast working on a new WordPress website design for one of our clients Prestige Decor which specializes in furniture upholstery, upholstery fabrics, curtain fabrics, curtain rods, and window treatments in Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area, although they have clients from all over the world. Prestige Decor specializes in custom window coverings for homes and businesses and has a massive selection of fabrics, curtain rods and top of the line experts in both custom curtains, draperies, blinds, shades and furniture upholstery. They also offer professional curtain installations in the greater Toronto Area. Expect only the best in quality from Prestige Decor products and services and some of the fastest delivery times in Canada. We met with the staff of Prestige Decor on multiple occasions and they are all very passionate about their work and we know they will succeed especially with our support with getting their website to be the most resourceful in their industry.
Some of the main areas of focus for this web design project were: improving the overall look and feel of the website to match the Prestige Decor brand, which just by its name is prestigious. We went with a fully custom design to set them apart from their template-based competitor websites while preserving their existing online look and feel. So we kept some of their colours the same but really went above and beyond to improve the user experience by capitalizing on CTA’s and providing users with a logical flow of information to easily take them to the pages that they are interested in. With intuitive navigation menus, sliders and loads of new content the improved Prestige Decor site packs a strong punch.
We also moved the site to WordPress from their original site which was built without a CMS platform on plain html/css. With an easy to use backend and frontend page builders their staff is now able to engage in content creation by adding images and new pages to their website with ease.
The old website was not responsive which means it was not mobile or tablet friendly and with the new Google algorithms and mobile-first index it was imperative to make the site responsive. We focused on optimal display on all mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop devices to give users a unique yet blazing fast experience.
We are excited to see the extent of the positive impact this new website will have!
